loving god. loving people.
In July of 2015, eleven steadfast members voted to have Tim Butterfield come as the new pastor of their struggling little church. The church is still in the fledgling stage of growth, and though at the time of this writing it has grown at least eight fold, we know God doesn’t want us to be satisfied with where we are now.
We have seen the hand of God at work in our lives as individual believers and as a body, and we believe God wants to do more—develop more people, add more ministries, build more buildings, support more missionaries, and create more opportunities to make a difference in Grass Lake, Michigan, in the surrounding area, and in the world. We are overflowing with ideas for community outreach and world evangelism so that we can carry out what we have been commissioned to do—reach others with the changing power of the Gospel for the purpose of honoring and glorifying our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we know that if we are yielded to Him, we can do what seems impossible to us. "The future is as bright as the promises of God."
