We ask attendees to dress modestly and comfortably. We have a mixture of people wearing jeans, slacks, suits, and dresses. At GLBC we are more concerned about the preparedness of your heart for the teaching of God's word than what you are wearing.

Every service has live music, a combination of traditional hymns and newer gospel music that is God-honoring and solidly based on theological truths of scripture. The Lord is the focus of all our music and congregation singing.

Kids between the ages of 3-13 are invited to attend Sunday school and Junior Church with our dedicated teachers. For those ages 0-3 we provide a safe nursery with a foam-padded floor, many toys, and rocking chairs. There is also a separate private area for nursing mothers if needed.

Everyone from all walks of life is welcome at our church. Our church is welcoming, loving, and genuinely kind to all who attend, regardless of creed or background.

The safety of you and your family is very important to us. Our church has current and retired law enforcement / military in attendance each week. Our pastor is a recognized subject matter expert in this area and has instructed hundreds of churches throughout Michigan and the Midwest on safety and security protocols for churches.
